Looks to be in really good shape and those covers are less than $150 I believe to replace. Sewfine is where the majority of us seem to be acquiring new vinyl covers these days. Got mine 5 years ago.

(mine was an impulse 'instaHerbie' done over 5 months from wreck to MK1 Herb') Re the 4/130 to 5/205 Disc conversion: There is a 4 to 5 hole conversion plate available but it is not recommended for disc brakes and wouldn't give you the correct 'naked' wheel look. As far as i am aware, I am afraid there is no 'Conversion' it is a case of buying a new rotor and matched caliper (and probably a new hub and carrier) Others may be able to point you in a different direction...

I have learned patience lol. 5 months Herbie build is epic - well done I'll just keep the adjustable beam then and resort to good old drums.

'Sloper' wings and 'US' headlights came in 2013 and the long decklid in 2014 as i could spare the funds for the upgrades. Besides which, it kept my Herbie on the road... Your patience and hard won collection of parts will result in an A1 replica. Keep at it.
