Firstly, Welcome and It's certainly cool that you have a car especially as cool as a '58 at that age. or any age. I'm not sure what 60HP '58s there were. But 60HP in a beetle is a lot. A 1303s 1600twin port only had 50HP. And they don't hang about as the cars are lightweight.
Fitting a supercharger and a "BigBore systems" is a little general. I assume by Big Bore you mean replacing the Pistons and Barrels for larger ones? This is a minefield in itself. You an up to something mild like a 1641 or even 1679cc with not a lot of extra work, but then goto 1776/1835 with some engine case machining, and all the way to 2387cc with a bigger crank (86mm) and heavy machining. Also, I would focus on the car itself as believe me, when you come to insure your car at the age you are allowed to drive, having a big engine will not help. Get a nice cool beetle and drive it, and look to make it faster later. as long as the engine is reliable that is most important.

This confused me. Will the pan fit what? Do you have a '58 shell only? and are you trying to fit the Super beetle pan to it? or was this in response to Goodyear53 saying he would like a shell? Good luck with your project and as already said, please post actual photos of your car not just any old '58 from google. We all know what a '58 looks like, but are interested in YOUR '58.
