I haven't built the Ghia, but the Cadet bug isn't too tough to build. The one in the photo is one I actually took apart and rebuilt.

the artwork on the boxes are priceless !!!!!!I wouldnt even dare to build the kit, being vintage items as they are, my Hasegawa LoveLiner models are all still

My philosophy is, if any parts have been glued, the model is fair game to build.

Albert, I've had good luck using Easy-Off oven cleaner to take stubborn paint off of old kits-
HOWEVER- since this kit is so old, I'd test it on a hidden part if possible. |

If You put old models in the freezer, old glue usually "gives" a lot more easily, & soaking chromed parts in chlorine bleach leaves them without
chrome...

I just built another Revell street machine pink beetle. I had one a long time ago that was painted green and customized but I wanted to get another one and
build it box stock so I got one of ebay for $8.00. I also have 2 of the woodstock hippy bugs and a revell convertible. Then I have a gunze oval and a tamiya
66. I have many other VW and other make models as well.
